The concept is simple and it is exactly what it sounds like! This came about during the social distancing years of Covid and it stuck. You arrive and make your way through eerie lighting, spooky sound effects, fog, and costumed characters lurking in the dark. Then you go through the actual car wash portion and YES there are frights waiting in the water. Whether you’re looking for family-friendly Halloween fun or a low-stress scare with friends, this drive-thru haunted experience delivers.
Choose Your Own Fear Level
Not a big fan of jump scares? No problem. Want the full spooky experience? Go for it. The Haunted Car Wash lets you set your own fear boundaries — you can:
Keep your windows rolled up for a more contained, mild experience
Crack them partially down for some extra thrills
Roll them all the way down or even unlock your doors if you’re feeling brave

We went to this the first time in 2021 or 2022 and had fun, and then just went again to the Lakewood location and had a blast. My best friend and I sat in the back and had the doors unlocked and windows partially down and we really enjoyed it. It’s so funny and great for people who want that controlled environment. We really recommend checking them out this season before it is too late!
